In the coastal region of Puger, East Java, Indonesia, where the land meets the sea, a unique challenge unfolds. This waste, often seen as a byproduct of daily life, has become a burden on both the environment and the livelihoods of those who depend on the land and sea for survival.
But where others see waste, we see potential.
At ANG Green, we believe in the power of transformation—not just of waste, but of lives. Our project was born out of a deep commitment to empower the most vulnerable among us: disability communities, rural housewives, and fish farmers in Puger.
Our STORY
Other side of East Java
In Puger, the abundance of food waste threatens the delicate balance of the environment. Fish farmers struggle with high costs of feed, and rural families face limited economic opportunities. Meanwhile, disability communities often find themselves marginalized, with few paths to meaningful employment.
We decided to take action. ANG Green was established to turn this challenge into an opportunity for growth and empowerment. By collecting and processing food waste, we produce organic fish food and plant-growing medium, reducing the burden on the environment and cutting costs for local farmers.

We’ve created jobs and training programs for disability communities, giving them the skills and confidence to contribute to this vital work. Rural housewives are now part of a network that supports their families while promoting sustainable practices. Together, we’re building a community that not only addresses food waste but also uplifts those who need it most.
